Leandro Cano's Haute Couture Winter 2023 collection showcases 10 looks inspired by the representation of artisanal techniques. From fajalauza porcelain to embossed leather and knitting techniques, the collection aims to highlight artisanal mastery in each piece.
The Artisan's Odyssey: Tribute to a Decade of Fashion Innovation
Reinterpreting the codes of the house over the span of ten years, we merge materials and artisanal techniques, such as gold embroidery, crochet with metal chains, and Granada's fajalauza ceramics, to create ten emblematic pieces representing eleven different archetypes. Each piece in the collection reflects the time and dedication of craftsmen, highlighting the richness and evolution of the creative universe throughout the brand.
Crafting artistry, a journey of innovation and tradition in haute couture
Bringing this collection to life was an intricate and demanding endeavor. Each look required the expertise of a specialized artisan, whose craftsmanship played an integral role in the realization of the vision.
Collaborating closely with these artisans, we embarked on a journey of creation that involved meticulous attention to detail, countless hours of labor, and multiple iterations to perfect each piece.
Rooted in the tradition of haute couture, the project sought to push the boundaries of fashion by creating pieces that transcend mere garments, evolving into sculptural and architectural marvels.
Drawing inspiration from both the past and the present, the collection embraces a contemporary aesthetic while celebrating the timeless artistry of craftsmanship. The resulting garments are not just clothing; they are works of art, designed to captivate the eye and evoke a sense of wonder.
Through innovative design techniques and a dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship, this project seeks to showcase the enduring power and beauty of artisanal work in a modern context.

CAMPAIGN
In an endeavor to imbue the campaign for this collection with a more playful character, a decision was made to adopt a whimsical approach. The setting chosen was the vibrant atmosphere of the Seville Fair, where familiar and common backgrounds were employed to evoke a sense of fun and amusement. Against this backdrop, a photo shoot was orchestrated, capturing the essence of the collection amidst settings such as Ferris wheels, bumper cars, and carnival games. By incorporating these playful elements, the aim was to create a visual narrative that not only showcased the garments but also evoked a sense of joy and excitement, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the world of the collection.
